HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR MLD TREATMENT

  • Hydrate well. Drink plenty of water of water to support lymph flow & help your body flush out waste & excess fluid.

  • Eat light & easy-to-digest food the day of treatment.

  • Avoid caffeine, alcohol, & smoking. These can dehydrate your body or impair circulation, which may reduce the effectiveness of treatment.

  • Wear loose, comfortable clothing to give your body easy & avoid lymph restriction (unless otherwise recommended by your doctor.)

  • Arrive rested & relaxed if possible. A calm, rested body responds better to therapy. Avoid scheduling around heavy metals or stressful events.

AFTER YOUR SESSION

  • Keep hydrating. Continue drinking water to support fluid movement & toxin elimination.

  • Choose gentle movement. Light walking, gentle stretching, or yoga can help keep your lymph circulating. Avoid intense workouts or heavy lifting in the first 24-48 hours.

  • Wear comfortable, loose clothing. Avoid tight garments that could restrict lymph flow (unless otherwise recommended by your doctor.)

  • Avoid hot baths, saunas, heavy meals, alcohol, & excessive salt. These can counteract the drainage process or cause fluid retention.

  • Rest & listen to your body. You may feel tired or notice increased urination (a normal sign of fluid draining.) Allow time for recovery.
